Restaurants Are Investing Significantly in AI
Nearly every respondent is willing to invest significantly in AI.
They’re motivated by the great results they’re already getting from automation, plus the early returns on the use of AI across FOH and BOH. (See Chart 12.)
So far, most are using widely available AI tools aimed at all sorts of businesses. And they’re already getting great benefits. So, as they consider how that same power will play out in restaurant software, it’s a no-brainer to get excited about the possibilities.
The ability to run the business more efficiently, create a better guest experience, and up their game in ways that make them scale faster, personalize better, and get creative about how they run the business is proving highly enticing.
Similar to [restaurant operators who have adopted] other restaurant technologies we’ve seen rise in popularity over the last few years, from digital reservation systems to online delivery platforms, those who embrace AI and automation early on will be better prepared to leverage it in ways that expand their businesses’ revenue streams."
